Last year, because of you, United Way was able to:
- OVER 6,000 CHILDREN received the support they needed to succeed and thrive at 108 United Way BC School’s Out and School’s Out Summer program sites.
- 4.6 MILLION MEALS AND HAMPERS were delivered to over 314,000 individuals and families in need through dignified food access programming to help address Food Security.
- OVER 65,000 SENIORS received more than 800,000 Healthy Aging supports and services to stay independent, active, and engaged in their own communities
- ALMOST 9,000 PEOPLE in 31 communities received emergency assistance and support in post emergency recovery and resilience building.
- MORE THAN 51,700 PEOPLE were supported by Community Navigators at 211 British Columbia, who provided close to 129,000 referrals to local programs and services to help with life’s basic needs.
- 580 FORMER YOUTH IN CARE were able to cover basic living expenses while pursuing postsecondary education in BC through the Youth Futures Education Fund.
- ABOUT 20,000 NEIGHBOURS were engaged and almost 300 Local Love funds were distributed in 12 United Way BC Hi Neighbour communities.
